At Further Confusion, we’re pleased to announce that for our 2015 event fursuit photo badging will be returning! As in previous years we will make available to our attendees an official badge for their fursuit characters that, when worn with that character, will grant access to all the features of the convention that an attendee would normally have. Why do this? Because we understand that sometimes when you’re in character or out in costume you don’t want to carry your other identities with you but you still want to be part of the convention. We totally get where you’re coming from.
There are some changes to how we’re doing thing that you need to be aware of, the most important of which is this: Fursuit photo badges will not be produced on-site at Further Confusion 2015. Fursuit photo badges will only be available to pre-registered attendees who submit requests for them before the cut-off date! They’ll be printed before the convention and you’ll be able to pick them up with your Further Confusion membership badges.
All photo Fursuit Photo Badge requests by pre-registered guest must be made by January 12, 2015. After that we will not accept nor produce any additional Fursuit Photo Badges.
So now on to The Rules™. Please be sure to read them completely.
1. Every pre-registered attendee of Further Confusion is entitled to at least one free fursuit photo badge. The number of free fursuit photo badges you’re entitled to is dependent on your membership level:
- Attending and Volunteer Staff Memberships - 1 Badge
- Sponsor Memberships - 2 Badges
- Super Sponsor Memberships - 3 Badges
2. You may request additional Fursuit Photo Badges beyond your free allotment for a nominal donation to of $2.50 to RocketDog Rescue, Further Confusion 2015's official charity, per additional badge. We will send you a donation request when process the your Fursuit Photo Badges.
3. To request additional Fursuit Photo Badges just fill out this form again.
Yep. That’s it. Three rules. We like to keep things simple. Of course, we also have some Photo Guidelines that should help you help us make this a smooth, easy process.
1. No photos larger than 3MB and should be of sufficient size and resolution that we can trim, crop, and adjust photos as needed to make them best fit the badge templates.
2. Photos should be taken against a light, uncluttered background.
3. Further Confusion is an event that is open to attendees of all ages, Fursuit Photo Badges must be presentable to persons of all ages. We’ll email you if we need you to send us a new photo.
That’s it. Just three guidelines for the photos.
We will not use or share any photos that you upload for any purpose other than producing your Fursuit Photo Badge(s). Once we have produced all of the badges for FC2015 we'll delete all of the photos that have been uploaded.
One last thing...Make sure that you've spelled your character's name correctly! We will print exactly what you enter as the character name and will not be able to reprint the badge with corrections at the convention.
Okay, got it all? Great! Now let’s get crackin’!
